The singiing contest will be in “PK” format, where our 10 finalists will be in for direct face-off!

Our show will also feature many local guest performers and our guest from HK, Alfred Hui from tvb’s “the Voice”!

Our guests this year also include LOCUS, Jennifer Chao, Edward Chui, Cherie Ng, William Wang (Last year’s winner), and dancers from flying dance studio!

DSC’s Cultural Department 3rd Annual Bartending workshop is finally here!

Two instructors will be teaching us how to mix up three different drinks – with real alcohol
There will be a big flat screen TV and music if anyone feels like dancing!

By the end of the night you’ll be able to impress all your friends with your new bartending skills. It will be an educational and EXTREMELY fun night!

DSC’s annual Charity Variety Show is back! And wants YOU to be part of our 2-round singing contest! All profit of the show this year will be directed towards World Vision for aid to Haiti!

The finalists of this year’s singing contest will have the chance to collaborate with our guest singers and bands, win fabulous prizes, and perform a duet with our guest singer from Hong Kong!

Sign up now by sending us an email to jacky.leung@ubcdsc.com, giving us your name, phone number, and two songs that you like to perform on our audition. You can also fill in our application form and submit them to our booths!

Please sign up as soon as possible so we can make sure we have the song you’ll sing!

DSC is in the works of organizing their greatest, most extravagant event of the year, the 2010 Fashion Show En COEUR. All those who attended last year know exactly how crazy and wild it gets, and we can assure you this year will be no different. Wait. It’ll be EVEN sexier, and we need your help. Models of all shapes and sizes are most definitely welcome, and we encourage you to bring your friends!

Not only will you be walking down our runway in front of many important guests, members of the media, and fashion designers, you will be participating in an exciting photoshoot held at Sutton Place Hotel. You will have your hair and makeup done by industry professionals, and be able to take amazing photographs that will be featured on our promo website!!

Learn how to give your skis or snowboard a hot wax by hand! Comprehensive hands-on lesson presented by the experienced shop staff at the Richmond Center’s SportChek location.

Feel free to bring your own skis and snowboards to learn on, and give them a quality wax at the same time (with your own hands) Equipment will be provided, including skis/boards, waxing irons, waxes, and brushes to learn on! Waxing equipment sales throughout the entire event, set yourself up for year’s worth of self waxing!
